I prefer staying married.
But all the work is done. Where's the fun in that?
I guess you could buy it and sell yours. At least this matches.

You're probably right, she wouldn't even notice, until she decided to drive it one day, "Honey, didn't this car used to be an automatic?".

Sport pkg car! 528i over 525i! The minuses include the AT and the lack of a V8. Interesting. If it were a stick someone here would probably grab it.

That cargo tray is neat. Did all e39 wagons have that?

Sliding load compartment floor/tray was optional.
S412A LADEBODEN AUSZIEHBAR Luggage-compartment floor, extendable
Added weight of the thing was its downside.

**Euro** BMW 735i (Imported from Germany) - $1900 (Wichita, Ks)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is your opportunity to own a Classic Euro-BMW 735i! I have owned this car since 2004, originally I planned on completely renovating it (including painting it), but only got as far as doing tune-up, brakes, fluids, etc. The car runs VERY strong, it has the BULLET PROOF 3.5L straight 6, fresh oil change (no engine leaks and no smoke), (w/timing chain, so you don't have to worry about those stinking timing belts). Much of the body has already been sanded and primed, just needs a fresh coast of paint. The heavy duty olive green leather interior w/burl nut wood trim is in good condition for an '85. Power windows, seats, sunroof, cd stereo, heated seats, etc. Car will come with the 3 extra wheels/tires as shown in the pictures. This would be a nice summer time project (or if you just want the car for it's classic bumpers, engine, etc.) for someone who can appreciate Home Grown German Quality! Call 316-243-5954, and make me an offer! Clean title in hand. Cash only.
Something like this is gonna get me is so much trouble one day LJ.

You need a clean 745i. Or an ///M7. My two cents.

I missed a few issues last night while I browsed the ad. Was looking very casually until you said that, at which point I do agree it's got some warts. Assuming it's mechanically sound (big "if", I know), then it seems cosmetic attention and reversal of intake "upgrade" would go a long way.
Just my $.02, saw it and forwarded it along.

Not at all! It literally is dirty, but with what I drive I'm distracted by shiny paint
perhaps "In decent shape" would have been a better way for me to describe it. A little pricey too. Hell, it was late enough when I posted it that I missed the seats

Now for something completely different...

Nothing like a hacked up DustBuster Van. Looks like a quality job too.
Love how they added the *RARE* bit to the title, which is true; when's the last time you've seen something like this (and didn't want to gouge your eyes out)?

What's with the second door handle on the passenger side?
