You should all have heard from me by now (shout if I missed anybody; there's only 23, so not sure how that might happen!) to get your addresses. I'll be doing the mixing and matching later this morning and will send you all your victim's mailing information via Private Message. Then it's your job to pack your Priority Mail box and get it to the post office by December 18.
THIS IS GONNA BE GOOD!

Sorry to the stragglers, but registration is now closed. We had a few last-minute additions, but I gotta cut it off sometime.
For those who've registered, I'll be sending you a name and address shortly; please post a comment below when you send yours off. And please, please, please do send something. Remember, it's better to give than to receive, but in this program it really sucks to give and not receive. You've committed, so do it. Deadbeats will be outed, shamed and ridiculed.
And when you get yours, no peeking! Save it for Christmas Day, OK?

Dave,
"...only 23", don't you need an even number of participants??

Nope; it's like throwing a bunch of names in a hat and everybody pulls one out; you'll be sending to one guy, and somebody else will be sending to you. We could've done a one-to-one exchange, but this mixes it up a bit more.RoyW wrote:Dave,

I do not care for the Post Office. The employees seem to be heavily sedated (prolly cause union) and the customers (except me) were fucking STRANGE. I felt like a dumbass because I waited in line when the boxes were on a shelf right behind me. There was very pretty girl in front of me except tattoos turned her ugly. What a waste.
I hear you; it's like visiting Walmart. I usually don't mind going to the Post Office here though, especially when I only visit the place after regular business hours & use the automated doodad. Or you can save a little $$ by setting up your shipping online & printing your tag yourself. Then you just leave it for the postal carrier to pick up or drop it in one of the boxes outside the PO.Karl Grau wrote:I do not care for the Post Office. LOL, I love the post office, DMV and Walmart.... Makes me feel like one of the 1%ers.Karl Grau wrote:I do not care for the Post Office. Ruh-roh, I may not be able to open mine until boxing day. A girlfriend from the '90s will be visiting from the 21st to the 25th and it took a decade for her to finally speak to me again. I'm guessing opening your box in front of her won't help anything.
(and Dave, I think you need to recalibrate the The Magic Bingo Machine™ )

Those bumpers really soaked that up.
Edit: this is exactly what i thought of when i got my recipients name. (Just the face, no LOL)

Lol it's all good. I just finished moving back in June so I've already purged most of what I had. I'll jump on the next one.oldskool wrote:I'll sell you mein!LandCruzer94 wrote:Lol, how the hell did I miss this one? I was thinking about doing one the other day even... I'm glad to see it's happening!
