Appreciate all the interest in the bracket kits! I have ~6 more sets from the last batch, and when they're gone, it will likely take preorders to do another round. If you're interested in a set, all the info is at the top of this thread, or PM me any questions you have.

Thanks!

Have anything in the works for us early e28 owners for the rear?

Sorry, I do not. Currently that is due to primarily not having access to an earlier e28 with this mount, and also available time.

Summer time is here and it sounds like there are a bunch of people getting their cars set up for some back road fun and need better bar mounts. I just got enough interest to make another batch of brackets, lead time is about 2-3 weeks from today. I've already sent PMs to those interested. More details on payment if you want to secure a set before they ship.

Thanks!

The latest round of kits has come in. Those waiting for one should all be shipped out now. If you want to fix or upgrade your mounts, let me know, there are more!

Hi all, I have 3-4 kits left if anyone needs a winter project to upgrade sway bar mounts. Details in the first post!

Checking back in here. I sold out a few months ago, but have gotten some more interest in front sets.

I'll need a total of 5 more front kits before I can order parts, to keep the price the same. Are there others interested?

Aaron,
Sorry I didn't see this thread, I'd be in for a set even if it were a little more.

I think that puts us at 5 more interested, so I can kick off another order pretty easily!

Pricing will remain the same: $70 for a front set, $40 for a rear, or $110 for both front and rear. A single front and/or rear set will be shipped for $8 USPS Priority Mail. If you can PayPal payment for either $78 (front only) or $118) frond and rear) to: sales@limitedslipengineering.com, I'll get these going for you. Also specify your front sway bar diameter; common sizes right now are 22mm (the Suspension Techniques adjustable bar) and 25 mm (stock m5 bar).

Edit: meant to add the lead time on this is a few weeks for another batch.

Low volume manufacturing isn't exactly highly profitable! :)

I have one left at this point. I can make more, but usually need at least 4-5 orders to make it happen.

Appreciate the continued interest in the parts - hope they are treating everyone well!

I looked at the last set of front brackets I had and they were mismanufactured, so I don't want to sell bad parts. As such, I now have no sets left. I could kick off another batch, and would take about 2-3 weeks for new parts to come in. I'd like to see interest for 3-4 front sets before I do that though.

Everyone who had sent me payment already has their kit on the way.

Is the rear set necessary? I purchased 3 front sets but did not know the rears should be reinforced.

I was unaware that the rear even had an issue since going from 17 to 19mm is small increase, but with the adjustments all the way stiff it might be necessary with hard driving over time. Please let me know. Thanks in advance!!

Hi all, I've been a bit MIA lately, but I do have another set of kits in stock and should be able to start shipping them out next week.

As for if the rears are necessary: I upgraded mine, but they were still holding at the time. I've seen others get pulled clear off the car if you run a big enough bar or if they were weak to begin with.

Hi all - now that the holiday break is here I have some more spare time to get kits finished and shipped. If you're still needing a fix for your front and/or rear sway bar bracket mount points, I can help. See the first post for cost and payment details.

I'm still surprised a bit these are trickling out over the last few years. Glad to help the community and hope to get my own e24 back on the road soon.
