Not yet,
Vishnu is tappering off boost after 5k rpm to determine longevity. By 6krpm the system is down 2psi. Maybe in the future he can leave the boost up and see where its at.

And the 5 series. Possible in the new Z4 also.

I WANT ONE! In a 1 series it might be affordable. I wonder if there's a suspension kit for the 1 available yet...

Yea, but he loses 50 lb-ft between 3k and 5k . . . It actually tapers off gradually from 3k all the way to ~6.5k where it really starts to dive.
He should be able to maintain torque from 3-5k if the boost is steady and the turbo can push the air.

Guys, I've seen the test bed car for this project in person and can tell you it's fast. Very fast. Puts a smile on more than one naysayer of modern BMW's.
Tuning for this motor is in it's infancy and is getting better almost every day. With the probable inclusion of it in the 1,5 and X series, it will get even more attention.
Keep in mind, Audi twin charged their V6 a few years back and tuners had an orgasmic time playing with the factories conservative tunes. I saw 550hp cars built from the original 250hp cars. Ohhhh was it cool.
Stay tuned.....
