i would but i gave it away. i think after i adjust the cam and the fule to air i'll be good it was already faster with the vac leak lol. but you might be right i may put the other one back on. i have all day to fiddle faddle with it

Theres no way it was faster. You might think it was, but thats not a modification thats worth anything on an e motor. I G-Tech'd mine to confirm the seat of the pantsfeeling I had after I did this very swap back in the day. It took an extra .5 seconds to get to 60. Thats pretty crappy. And it felt like it lacked what midrange punch it had before. If anything you should put a 325i cam in there and keep the eta intake. That makes for some decent torque.

O.K. I stayed out of this since my first post which said that you had a vacuum leak.
Not to criticize as I have done this sort of thing before myself and I really try not to be a hypocrite but through my experiences recently I have learned this.
Always take the advice given you on this board and disprove it before going any futher. If you're too deep in it then step back and catch your breath for a minute before proceeding. You will save yourself hours of time and stress.
Just ask me how I know.

I think the question is what else you have done to yours.

i have installed these >>> msd ignition and blaster coil, m30 air mass meter, cone filter, three inch powder coated cold air tube to throttle body, 325i intake manifold & throttle body, dual side discharge exuast 2 1/4 aluminized exaust pipping, shorty headers, new plugg wires bosh platnum pluggs, injectors, 535i fule pumps, water pump fan from an s50 or 52 2.8l new radiator, stock cam adjusted to make car sound loby at an idle.
wish list. i m told a 027 ecu and a chip for that. no pistons or any internals still sitting in a box. wating on the weather to be a bit nicer.
nothing super extream . dont have any cool dinnan parts or any thing from heartage but that wold be nice
heres a pic of what it looks like now

The good news is that it looks pretty clean. The bad news is that none of those "mods" are good for any improvement. The stock intake and AFM are best for all but the most modified engines. So unless you're running ITB's you're best off with the stock stuff there. The M30 AFM is still an AFM like the M20, its just larger and intended for a different motor. Its doing you no good. That exhaust is also way too large. Dual 2 1/4 pipes are more than any m20 will ever need. A single 2.5" would be all you'll ever need for a 2.7l NA motor. It would make better power than having way too much.
Other than that stuff, the 535i fuel pumps are the same as the ones you took out and the s5x fan isn't any more of an upgrade than different colored tires. I hesitate to ask what size injectors you have in there, as I know they are too large. And you still need to put the stock e intake back on, with the stock e throttle body, injectors, AFM and air box. You should feel an improvement with that setup.
I hate to break your balls, but you're spending a lot of time and money doign all the ricey bolt on stuff. If you're looking for more motor, you need to get more serious.
