I wonder why it dips so sharply in the middle of the torque curve. That'd be positively nutty if it didnt have the big lull in the middle of it.

Todd and I speculated, along w/Sweeney that it's a intake tract issue with the torque dip.

See how the power keeps building to 5500 RPM. Very nice power curve. The Schrick 288 would make a great turbo cam IMHO. Ill be putting one of these in my car.

Intake had very short runners.

Did that motor have that crazy s38 based ITB setup with the little banana runners and plenum before the throttles? I saw pictures of that a few years ago, though I dont know if it ever made it onto an engine.

Nah, that's Sweeney's little project. I'm not sure if that motor has made its way into an engine bay yet.

You sure. What intake did it have, the stock M30b33 half circle intake runners?

Oops, my bad. It had the b34 intake with two big intercooler cores stuffed inside.
