I guess I'm committed if I have a hotel room on June 27, 2011 in Sterling Heights, MI...

Can I request something other than Red Bull this year? A Coke would be fine...

It's only a 9 hour drive. You would be here for afternoon happy hour if you left at 6am.I see no reason why you cannot attend an event you will enjoy. ;)

1. No, must be a red can of regular Coke.

2. I will come by Chicago and give Alijonny a wake up call.

3. No, she doesn't drink beer but probably would like a Tim Horton's.

4. Yes on the oil change. It will be an M30 this time... :)

Mark, I was unaware of this business venture for you. Do people call you "Mr Lube" in casual conversation? Seems it would lead to some rather interesting conversations.

How far is it (distance wise and time wise) from Mississauga to Toronto? I'm guessing we will arrive in the area around lunch time on Wednesday and trying to decide if we want to stay in Toronto 2 days and Missisauga 2 days or to stay in Missisauga all 4 days...

Ted in T.O. wrote:Calgary to Vancouver: The best drive of your life in terms of scenery. The Mountains are beautiful Eric. If you have time going home take the Columbia Ice Fields parkway north from Banff to Jasper Alberta and stay overnight there. Then head back the next morning the same way. Totally different scenery going in the opposite direction. I'll get maps and stuff for you Eric and we can discuss it at Tedfest.Cheers. Ted
I somehow missed this till now. I'll vouch for it. Banff is possibly the most beautiful place on earth.

Also as of right now, looks like I'm taking the eta. Gotta get the 6er up to an 8 hour road trip in less than a month. I hate being lazy. :wrenchtime:

The real question is are you ready for Canada?

And, I'm planning to drop by the Tedfest grass show on Saturday for a few hours.

I'll be bringing this, 93 BMW R100 GS to tear up some of the grass. Hahaha.....

No show and shine for this bad boy, it will be the total package, mud and dirt included. Hahahahahaha......

Although, I may have to park the bike on the street since it does not fit the Tedfest criteria for vintage BMW's. Given my history with the event, perhaps Ted will make an exception on allow the bike onto the grass.
