Here's something you don't see every day; an honest-to-goodness Euro-spec 750i (no 'L'). Sounds like it's in need of some love though; the current owner has had if for about a week but seems to be choking a bit on some repair/maintenance stuff on the car and is thinking of selling already.

This is a rare, Euro 323i that was converted, at time of production, to a convertible/targa by BAUR TC in Germany.

Before BMW began to produce the E30 Convertible in 1986, Baur TC did all their convertible work.

This car has a Targa top that lifts off and is stored in a custom rack in the trunk. The rear section of the roof is canvas, and drops down and gets hidden by a parade boot.

The car is in decent condition, it is not perfect by any means, it is a 27 year old E30, after all.

The original 2.3 Litre L-Jetronic motor threw a rod. We have replaced it with a 2.5 Litre Motronic 1.0 engine from a 1987 325iS. The original LJet motor is included in the sale, should you wish to return the vehicle to stock.

5 speed manual transmission, rebuild limited slip final drive. Drives well. Has a period correct Zender body kit on it and has been repainted at some point in its life.

This car was imported and Federalized through a shop in Cincinnati in 1985.

The odometer is showing 139,000 miles and I see nothing on the car to suggest this is not correct.

Still has the Euro bumpers, and Euro high beams, but US low beams. One low beam wiper motor is bad.

The rear plastic window needs to be restiched. It has fallen out as the stitching has degraded over the years. We have been quoted $500 to do this. I will knock $500 off the price if you take the car as-is, or will have the window repaired for the listed price.

I replaced the front seat covers with original BMW factory leather and original factory dash. AC has been completely redone at the time of dash replacement, new evaporator, expansion valve and dryer. AC cools great and everything works on the car. All services have been performed and the car is up to date. I have had the car for about 7 years and it has been stored in a garage and driven very little. Odometer stopped working a few years ago but like I said I have not driven the car but to the gas station and back. Fluids have been flushed every 2 years and oil changed as well. WBSDC9304J2791205 is one of 71 Canadian Spec Black/ Black M5 examples. Total Canadian production was 101 units, 30 of which had Natur leather. The seller's production figures are wrong.

UPDATE, work has been done to the car since I originally posted this ad---CONTROL ARMS, all door handles, tune up , a radio (not a great one , but it works, COMPLETE going over by my mechanic , In fact -----he is currently driving this car everyday,

The engine still runs great, very smooth, starts immediately, body is in good shape.Automatic transmission. It has174,249 miles. I know the car to be mechanically sound. Exhaust is 3 years old. Very little attention is needed, it is an every day car. Please only serious purchases.
A few Cosmetic things ------- and a crack in the windshield ---BUT I challenge anyone to find a car like this , in this good a shape or this price

A couple of days ago I saw a white 1983 528e by the side of the road. It's gone now, but I don't know if it was sold.

Interior is in pretty good shape, except for the dash, which is cracked as usual.

Ultra rare future collectable (only 1200 were ever imported to North America for 1-year). The car that poped up was a E24 6 series. They listed it as an 85 633CSi.

I am pretty sure that all 1985 6 series were 635CSi and that the last year for the 633CSi was 1984.

I don't think I would buy a car from this dealer!!
