Your gonna need a lot more meat than that. I have 225 on the back that are DOT-R 100 TW and I can spin them with ease. You should have at least 200 more HP to the wheels than I.
Duke,

I don't intend to drive the car like a teenager on the street I have 245 drag radials with no treadwear rating on style 5s and my set of slicks for the track.

OK, call it what you want but you will be limited to 1/2 throttle.... and or, you hear the turbo, tires will be spinnin.

Duke you really don't have any idea. Based on my short drives I think the linear power delivery is going to be more manageable than my last m30 setup.

I am always open to intelligent input. Fact is this car car 450rwtq with the m30 and will have no more than 550 with this setup. The power delivery will be much smoother and manageable with the throttle. I suspect my experience with the e28 and power delivery is more relevant than your experience with the Tiger.

Therefore I am not likely to accept your statements as fact.

Not facts, just opinion/recommendations from my experience with high HP/low weight car with close max torque by 2000 rpm.

Are you running 17x8 in front and 17x9 in the rear or 17 x 9 all the way around?

I put about ten miles on the car today. Still not ready for WOT but got a little more aggressive. I wasn't datalogging at the time but pushed a little bit on the Parkway in 2nd and 3rd gear. Power delivery is very linear. It just feels like a big powerful n/a motor. Drove it at 60+mph in 6th gear. No drivetrain issues. It's nice and smooth.

Bad weather the next two days but it gives me a chance to keep pushing through the small issues. I hope the PWM controller for the fan arrives this week.

I love that about low boost.
It just feels like a more powerful N/A version of the engine.

I installed a .5 bar wastegate spring that should give me 7.25psi if the WG system works well.

My math says 570-646bhp depending on efficiency. So 485-550rwhp. It's a big range but it should end up in there.

If the it boost creeps a little, the number will be a little higher.

Either way I need it super safe. I have a very busy 6 months coming up and cannot be working on the car due to an engine failure or popped HG.

Sorted out a few issues this morning and drove it some more. Cooling system seems to be working perfectly. 173F while cruising. Car is actually pretty quiet at the 725rpm idle. Creeped into the throttle heavier today and was spinning 2nd gear at part throttle but it's very cold today. Intake temps rose from 40F to 44F during one pull. Revved as high as 5600rpm and 7psi. I am all smiles. Tried to get a video from in the car but failed. Snow starting in a few hours.

5PM edit: boost leak somewhere - engine has enough heat cycles that it is time to spend an hour tightening everything.

Worked the car today and made more progress. I have an issue with the intake manifold and need to remove it tomorrow. I'll post pictures of the issue and fix tomorrow. Drove the car 15 miles today. Modified the timing and fuel maps and it made the engine very happy! Fan controller arrives tomorrow. Hopefully I get the car sorted tomorrow and get some videos on Sunday.

Removed the intake today to look for a boost leak. The bottom of the intake has a plate that bolts to and seals the plenum. It has a paper gasket. When I removed the intake two of the screws had backed out and the rest were loose. The gasket was fine so I reused it with some super duper sealant on both sides and blue locktite on the screws.

I also rerouted a heater hose and solved the last PS leak. I believe the car to be leak free!

I drove the car again and am getting real comfortable with it's reliability. As soon as the fan controller is installed it's ready to go anywhere.

I was heavier into throttle and got a little spin in 3rd (haha Duke). Videos tomorrow!

Pic of fan controller.

Told you so

Why does the manifold need a opening there? Could you just have the plate TIG welded to the manifold.
