$8000. Ironically, I had 5 different guys approach me in the past month or so through bimmerforums trying to convince me to sell the car. I guess when I listed it at the end of last year was a bad timing.

I'll second that. Your 540i is awesome.
e34s are really growing on me. I think when Greg sweeps TexFest this year with his e34 Touring, I'll have to go out and get one too.

I think that there should be at least one m535i specific category.
