Not even court fees? Here even if a ticket is dismissed, we still get stuck paying those.

I hope the cop was there to see the decision. Keep the ticket handy as a trophy.
Congrats!

Nope. My mother came with me and these are her exact words: "if they try to make you pay court fees I'm going to be going to jail today."

What did they pay you for all your wasted time? Should come out of the COPs pay.
you would think right? The officer who gave me the ticket is friends with one of the guys I work with. I almost want to go ask him for $100 in lost pay.

Not sure about PIVATE property, but in the OP's state, the police can pull over cars on private property. If you've heard otherwise, you've been given bad information.

So, I can get ticketed for doing 70 mph in a parking lot during an autocross?

Don't know the rules in GA. In TN, a parking lot that is open and and accessible to the general public is fair game for certain infractions like DUI, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, etc. lesser traffic infractions such as speeding and disregarding traffic controls are not enforceable. A lot closed off for an autocross would not be somewhere that any traffic statute could be enforced, at least in TN.
As an aside, if it's a CCA autocross, don't let national hear about 70 mph speeds.
