That might be, simply put, the
stupidest, bullshit filled counter-point I have read in a discussion -- ever. You have done nothing except lower the quality of this topic.

Sounds like you might be in charge of website promotion for Miller Performance. Ahahahaha

No Steve Dinan does not. His employee do/did. So the knowledge is spread out over many people that are no long working there, specifically for our vintage cars. Ever try to get ANY kind of service on your car Russ? Thay have not a clue about their products that are 10-20 years old.
Steve, albeit he has a technical background, is just a company executive and manages people, assets and time.

I'm in the market for a turbo kit, not in the line of advertising them. Undoubtedly Dinan will have more web page views having been around so long, let alone being endorsed by BMWNA. At any dealership if you ask for modifications what are they likely to recommend, Dinan. Hence increasing web traffic. Use your own damn mind and draw this conclussion before spitting out a stupid, non-factual demographic.

Gee, for an IT guy you don't understand much about how URLs work; they have nothing to do with "web page views" or "web traffic". Next issue, you're not at a BMW dealership now Einstein, you're on the internet. For purposes of this discussion it doesn't matter who or what BMW "endorses". The issue of "demographic” is irrelevant...
Struggling with consciousness the way you do, it follows you missed the comparison as being between Miller Performance and TCD. Alpina and Dinan are the benchmarks.

Yeah whatever. Obviously some have been around longer than others. If you want to make decisions based on those figures good luck.
Like I said before which was my main point, Miller does have the goods, they dont focus solely on kits, they build ground up customer spec cars - similar to an Alpina or Dinan. Bash em all you want - you only sound silly when you speak with little insults about things you know nothing about. I never made any such claims against a TCD car because I've never driven one. I've bought parts form TCD, and was seriously considering a TCD set up until I met the guys at Miller Performance.
There will always be someone bigger and better, simply a matter of opinion.

Still wondering about this. Anyone know?
It looks like you have a Miller 535i- is that the same kit they are talking about now?

Yeah, so, I have parted out almost the ENTIRE BMW product line from the mid 70s.

Your points are entirely invalid,
entirely. You have to see that the larger number of hits generated are directly influenced by the endorsement by BMWNA of Dinan aftermarket parts. Furthermore having released Dinan branded BMW's this additionally increases the existence of the name. Take that into consideration along with the greater lifespan of the company and long routed history in racing, you've got the ingredients for a "popular" domain.
Do us a favor, don't post any figures any more. You obviously cannot decipher them enough to take into consideration the previously existing name branding from a separate unrelated market. If TCD or Miller had formed the many years ago that Dinan, Delage, Alpina, Schnitzer, Hamann or Hartge had, we would definitely see a higher figure in your bullshit statement. Whether it be in styling or racing, those listed companies have entered into this market through numerous venues, not merely forced induction.
Slip yourself back out of consciousness, you capricious cunt.
Edit: Name calling isn't doing anything. Stop trolling with your irrelevant facts and figures. Sorry for derailing the thread.

Craig you'd have to check with them, my car is a custom spec one-off as far as I know. Expensive yes, but I want the entire package. Its like a Foose BMW - call it Millertime if you like : )

You're a funny guy. Not particularly bright, attentive to detail or adept at technology but funny none the less. I do agree you're best served having someone else build your car. With your demonstrated lack of technical ability and attention to detail, you most assuredly would fail if attempting any level of technical work yourself.
P.S. I corrected your post to accurately reflect the author.

The Turbo System I paid a Left Nut for To Install On A 20 Year Old Car Is Way More Awesome Than the Turbo System You Sell For 20 Year Old Cars.
Why?
Because No Matter What, I Made the Right Decision.
My Left Nut Says So.
Even If your Turbo System Actually Helps me Bag Super Models, the One I've Already Got Is Better.
You See, Mine Is Made By Real Elves(tm), And SuperModels Have Hepatitis. And, If You Are So Great, Where Is Your JetPack?

Sorry Todd - You may as well start selling magnetic fuel polarizers for carburreted Chevy's.

Hi Mark, I used Marketleap (
http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/ ) to look at the link popularity I posted,
http://whois.domaintools.com to look at domain registration information which I didn't post, and I right clicked the mouse to view the page source which allowed me to see (some) information about what key words were targeted and what techniques were used to generate the page. As it turns out, almost all the links to the Miller Performance site are internal links from other pages on the site. The means very little in and of itself, but as a drop of data, it is useful for due diligence purposes. Let me say right here, it makes no financial difference to me if I wake up tomorrow and find TCD and Miller Performance are going public, or if I find their corporate entity(s) are dissolved. But if I’m interested in doing business with a company I want it to be around and I want it to be financially strong. That’s in my best interest. Because these are private companies, they are not required to file financial statements. As such, gleaning information from public sources is valuable to get an idea where they are on the competitive map. I get calls every day from people who want to do business that involve huge financial risks. These tools and others allow me to get an idea if a company has been around and have good will at risk, or if their domain name was registered yesterday and may perhaps have nothing to lose.

This is the worst thread ever.
We are lucky enough to have a few companies that specialize in performance products for our cars.
Everyone has their own opinion and anyone can buy whatever they want for their own car.
I am lucky enough to have a few BMWs, and because of that I can tell you that Each tuner has a different market.
I have learned a great Deal from Todd over the years, I am also learning from Dan Miller (over on the 745i forum). I respect them both.

Um,
Just poke your head under the hood and look for 2 seconds. You'll see it right away if its a M102 manifold or a custom?

The thing is that there is no data, no time slips, no nothing. Just talk. We all know that talk is cheap. That's the only reason this thread is so long.
When you bring data to the discussion it will make for a very short argument. Until then it's all conjecture on your part.
