Send a pm to all the people in this threadandyalbany wrote:so I want an M535i.
Also interested to know where Mark Weber's Arctic Blue M535i went.5280 JB wrote:Where's this one been?
Don't see it list on the M Registry. Appears to have lived in California, Texas, and Ohio during its stateside lifetime.
Featured on Bring-a-Trailer, posted on eBay. '85 M535i in Ohio. White over black. Dinan turbo and other goodies. VIN just a few digits away from mine, June 3rd 1985 build date.
Not affiliated - I am not the seller.

Either that or I smell scam. Nice to know ebay scams exist in all languages.5280 JB wrote:Just checked the garage - my car is still there. Maybe I should report my car stolen in Hamburg and claim the one listed for sale
That image comes up on Google image searches and must have been easier to copy it than taking a picture of the actual car listed for sale. Nice.

This is a nice one, and it's more or less a twin to mine. It has the super rare roll-up window shades on the rear doors - the only e28 I've ever seen with those.irl-mn wrote:Just picked up an M535i last week. 1986 (11/85) DC51 Manual. Diamant Schwarz / Schwarz. Minneapolis, MN.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.wkohler wrote:I think someone needs to clean up the list. *cough cough* Vince *cough cough*
Missed this! The rear shades are a neat option to have. They are all in good shape and functional except for the rear quarter windows. One of the blinds is missing and the other isn't functional. I'm hoping to replace these as part of the spring refresh I have planned for the car once the weather warms up. We should get our cars together next year!stuartinmn wrote:This is a nice one, and it's more or less a twin to mine.
