Goodness, until last night and today, I never knew there were still so many 'secrets' and 'unsolved mysteries' of the Titanic.

Went to a restaurant for lunch today, and visited the boys' room to wash up first. There was a kid -- about 10 or so -- washing his hands when I walked in. When he finished he stepped over to the high-velocity hand dryer and proceeded to make hand fart noises with it, and got the giggles something terrible. It was hilarious! His dad was in the stall & told him to knock it off, but he kept it up. I joined in on the second hand dryer, and that made the kid laugh even harder. I wish I could've recorded it!

Am I the only one who searches out for this thread once in a while?
Anyway I can't decide to fix Heinz myself or to just pay my shop to do it. I know I'm capable, and the support here is excellent, but a part of me wants to just be lazy and write a check and not worry. But that check would be much smaller if I do it all myself and so far it doesn't appear that hard. Anyone else here have the same problem?
Anyone else also think about fixing something too much also? I need to just do it.
/random thoughts.

If you're talking about the valve adjustment, just do it. The valve adjustment doesn't seem to be that much harder (if at all) than the adjustment on an M30. Just a bit more expensive and time consuming because of the shims.
I know for me it would definitely be worth it to do it myself and save money.

Why is it that when I'm snacking on pistachios, the strays always taste better than the ones I pull out of the shells?

Facebook account deleted.
One of my leaders from church actually called me up about a post I made. "I'm not telling you what to do..."
Ungrateful ignorant prick.

Yikes.
What did you write? (or do I not want to know?)

Transplant a M52 is all you need. I know, the Honda engine has better numbers, but I bet in the real world the M52 is damn close. S50/52 if you really want a killer drivetrain.

You're right. I was just looking at that S2000 powered Escort rallye car on BaT which got me thinking... plus I had an S2000 few years back. I miss that car, but I've correctly moved on. Truth be told I'd probably prefer a Z3 M now days... that's a LONG ways off if ever...

I wonder if Subaru guys get as upset as we do when the inevitable ad comes out on CL advertising a flat 6 boxer motor as a V6 Subaru?
I mean it's gotta happen right, we can't be the only group cursed with ignorant used car dealers, can we?

Yeah probably, especially since most of their cars are 4 cylinder.

Carmen Electra turns 40 today.
Girlfriend, if you're reading this. . . In High School I wanted to say sooo much more to you but all I could mutter at the time was: "Puff, Puff, Give". Kisses.

As long as we're doing bugs and the like, how about a Tarantula? Not as close up, but notice the size compared to the line in the road. But it's not really all that big, only about the size of your hand.

Welll, we arrived in AZ yesterday. 100+ degrees (but it's a DRY heat!). I missed the desert soooo much. I went to pee half an hour ago and tried to wake up half the house by kicking a stepstool in the bathroom. That was at 330 az time (630 md time). I'm awake. But i still have almost 3 hours till my run. Argh.
Edit: we're just here for recon and house hunting at this point. I think that my wife is gonna get hooked up job-wise, so we may be alllllll rite.
