Dont buy from BAVARIAN AUTO RECYCLING

Barvarian Auto Recycling-
4 months ago..I ordered a half shaft for my e28, suppose to be next day sent to me, but after 1 1/2 months...it was still never shipped and no messages.
Asked for a refund on Aug 6 and was told that the only way to get a refund was to leave a voice message for the "manager".
On Sept 3,..I left another message...
On Sept 15, I left another message...
On Sept 23, I left another message....
Today...same deal..left another message...
Each time I asked to speak to a manager..each time I was told I "not allowed" to speak to a manager...they only accept voice mails ( voice mails were full...go figure). Each time I called...rude as hell to me to boot.
Each time they agreed I was due a refund and that they would send a xtra e-mail to the "refund person" and get a followup call back to me. Empty promises...
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau today and will call Visa see what they can do too. Please dont do any business with these guys...They are full of excuses and bullshit promises and dont deserve your hard earned money

Buying Style 5 Wheels from dunnojack, bad experience
Posted: Oct 08, 2010 1:12 PM
by spam
I just bought dunnojack's Style 5 wheels he listed in another ad here 2 weeks ago, and he told me that they were 5 "straight wheels, just not super-perfect". When I received them, one wheel was bent, and when I asked him about this, he denied that it was bent, and now will not answer my messages. Just an FYI for potential buyers to be aware of, and to give feedback on this guy's principles when selling something.

PM just received;
Listen, stop your whining and be a grown up. the issue is not that the part is wrong. it is that you did not want to spend the correct amount of money from day one!!!! stop being a girl about this.
the issues is that you wanted a perfect item for close to nothing.
you are a pile of shit!!! and by the way this is not sd45-2 but
crod49@cox.net. wow who is worst here , the bad part or the fact that you are spending a lot of time crying.............. Dude get over it. Either shut your pie hole or bring a positive solution to the table

Seller responsibility: WTF, you sold me a bent wheel
Posted: Oct 24, 2010 9:10 PM
by spam
Buyer Beware!
First, here is the short version. Dunnojack sold me a bent wheel. He doesn’t stand behind the item he sells or his word about the item he sells. I informed him that the wheel was bent 2 days after my receipt of the wheels. Now 3 weeks after the sale, the seller is mostly uncommunicative, takes at least a week to answer communications, and when he does communicate, he makes unreasonable offers of corrective action. He is a very poor seller and I would NOT SUGGEST BUYING ANYTHING FROM HIM, or for that case believing what he tells you.
Here is the whole story:
In the many years I’ve owned BMWs, I have learned that the community of BMW enthusiasts is vast, honest, and fair. One of the many reasons I chose to be part of this BMW forum was because it went back to the community and the expectation that if someone gave me their word about an item, it rang true. Until recently.
About a month ago I found a set of Style 5 wheels listed for sale on this forum. The seller, dunnojack, told me that the wheels were straight. The seller also said there were center caps for the wheels. The seller knew I was coming from out of state to pick them up. I even prepaid by depositing money into his bank account at his request since he was going to be out of town the weekend I need to pick them up. Then, I drove 9 hours to pick the wheels up from a friend of the seller (because the seller was out of town) which my choice, as he had offered to ship them. Due to the travel distance and my blind trust, I did not notice that one wheel was bent until I was home. I should also note that two of the wheels were missing the center caps, and the friend of the seller said dunnojack would send me them when he got back after the weekend.
I made several attempts to contact the seller in regards to the bent wheel and missing center caps. He said he’d send me a center cap at first, but then after he heard I discovered one wheel was bent, it was 10 days before I received another response. In the meanwhile, I was contacted by one of the members of this forum asking me to give him a chance, since this person had dealt with him and thought of him as fair. All I want is to be reimbursed for the cost of fixing the wheel. After all, I paid $725 for a set of 5 ‘straight’ wheels believing the seller to be honest about the transaction. Oh, did I mention the center caps?
As of now, his ‘fair’ response is tough luck. ‘You drove here to pick them up, you took them, you should have looked closer.’ And yes, I am guilty of not looking close enough. The only way to have done so at the time would have been to roll them on the pavement and, as he and his friend reiterated, they had just cleaned and polished the wheels. Did they not notice the bent wheel when working that closely with it and why not mention it? But again, I did not check. That was my folly. I trusted that the wheels were straight at the time of the transaction. Trust is what transactions are based on when purchasing from an out of town seller, such as is the case with many dealings on a forum such as this. And as for the center caps, still waiting…over 3 weeks now. I had to go buy a replacement cap so at least I could enjoy the wheels I have spent the money for. I’m not sure how it is for every BMW enthusiast, but for me, as a seller, I stand by what I’m selling. If I sell something I do my best to know what it is I’m selling, as well as provide as much information to potential buyers. If I make a mistake, then I own up to it and try to work with the buyer to resolve the problem.
Anyway, dunnojack has made 2 offers to correct this. First he said he’d take the bent wheel back for the price it would be to fix it. $75.00 I reluctantly told him that was fine, but that I wasn’t going to be paying shipping back to him. Maybe I’m crazy, but is there anything not fair about that? He told me no, he wasn’t going to be paying shipping either. So several more days of non-communication and then he said he had a change of heart after talking to friends on the forum and he would give me half the cost of fixing the wheel. Again I reluctantly said OK, but that I wanted $20 to cover the cost of 1 center cap that I had to buy. That was 6 days ago and I have not gotten a response from dunnojack or gotten the measly $57.50 from him to complete this transaction. I should add that I am in the Eugene Oregon area and the only wheel repair is in Portland. Then point is I have been more that fair with this guy who told me straight up before I bought the wheels that “the wheels are straight”.
As for this transaction, I’m frustrated. Between his lack of communication, the dishonesty, and the lack of cooperation through this transaction, I just feel that if someone can learn from this, the better. So, moral of the story…buyer beware. Even if you have dealt with the same person before, always check the merchandise before you hand over any money. Because even sellers that are supposed to be fair and honest, aren’t. Especially if his username on this forum is dunnojack.

Just to let you guys know,
Do not buy anything from Vivid Racing, communication & stock availability is a joke!
I purchased a set of eibach springs for my e28 and also paid the extra money to get them sent express. I waited 2 weeks and nothing arrived!! I sent them a few emails and no reply...finally after 3 weeks i get a reply and they told me that they'll be there in 8 days. So i waited and waited, again nothing arrives! i sent another email and they told me that they cannot supply eibachs. It took me a week to get my money back, they're pathetic. So yeah my point is don't purchase anything from these guys!

DJM1986-5 bought c-pillar cover, excellent shape / packaging great transaction.
Brian [Da Parts Pimp] - window seals - excellent super fast service
To my friends in Merritt Island, don't know if you are on the site but you have been invaluable in locating and getting parts, door panels, spoiler, shift knob, door parts, fog light, too much stuff to mention, excellent packaging and service.
round eye - went to see him this past weekend, bought a pair of cardinal comfort seats, he even installed (one of them anyway, my other side was rusted couldn't get it out, still working on it), I am new to the game he was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of pointers and is helping me with some more parts. Nothing like a local resource.
Have had nothing but good experiences so far, but try to do my diligence.
