Here are some quotes from the RTT11 post on the Cadillac Owners forum:
"Two comments I liked in that video, first about the e12/e28 "slowing" the group down with a breakdown - but it'll get you where you need to go. I can attest to that first hand. It's pretty easy to patch these old tanks up road side and limp it back. Then one guys comment about his car not looking pretty but he went there to drive it, what it was made for. That's how I feel about mine. Sometimes I get bummed that it isn't a "presentable" e28, but at this age and miles - the fact I daily drive it alone means something. The mismatched hood and minor body damage here and there gives it a personality. The metal is still protected from rusting away and underneath the worn out looking exterior, it has a nice and comfortable interior, solid underbody and is quite the fun drive. Truth is, if the car was in "nice" looking shape, I'd probably be super paranoid about it - and I don't want that."
"Now THERE are some REAL BMWs!"
"Sweet! Always liked the old BMW's."
That is halarious!
We should get them to sign up then watch them fall off the side of a mountain. Well except a CTS-V, they are cool shit (until they get all worn out, which from what I have seen from a few people who own them, doesn't take all that long).

It only took me a day to screw up that cts awd 6cycl I rented that time when we went to lime rock. Of course I forgot it was a awd car so I kept trying to load it up to get the wheels to spin... Next thing you knew there was a major ticking sound. I think I screwed up a CV joint... not really sure but that thing had a significant tick comming from the wheel area. haha

That happened once few years back with a Chevy Caprice (1990ish) who try to impress bunch of BMW guys and the driver was almost rolling the car over on twisties.

Tim I'm glad that you signed up, see you at RTT 2012
Thanks Sia! I can hardly wait. I will not be able to make the start of the event this year at The Vintage but I plan to meet up with you guys along the way and stay til the end.
I just got this news...
Congratulations Tim! Your application for entry into the 2012 Rolling the Twisties event has been accepted!

Well, I guess this means I must RTT this year. I'll probably be bringing the honeybadger of E34 Tourings. The S50 should be done and installed by then.

Can't let you take all the Touring glory Tim!
Great to hear, Greg! You won't regret it. I'll only be able to do the first day or two, so I guess I'll miss Tim this year...
And here's another classic moment from RTT10. Here's the fix performed by a veteran RTT driver, because that's what it's all about, helping one another and comradery.
And here's the award presented to the veteran driver at last years event, RTT11.

And the drivers in the photo, bottom right corner, from left to right, Jim (hope he can make it this year), Cousin Billy, Shermo, the one and only Jack Daniels, and Peter R..
