Not to be a dick or anything. Use your English Comp. mindset here lest the flame throwers activate.

Beyond that, Welcome. Lots of good people and information here.

First thing you need to do is buy a Bentley manual if you don't have one.

If you don't care enough about what you have to say to say it properly, why should we?

Bearing in mind the 533's come with a b32 engine, with what issues do you need help?

You might want to try this thread, http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?t=23569

Welcome, and grammar does matter when you want to effectively communicate.

You didn't have to say you were new here, we can tell. Welcome all the same.

You say that as if you think it's 'just' a car forum. It's not. If you've been around other car forums, you'll notice this one is different in character. Certainly, we'll all use l33tsp33k or slang or vernacular at times. That's a lot of what makes this place more interesting (and sometimes more annoying) than other car forums. But when it comes down to asking questions and providing useful information, it's best to do that right. That means using the proper terms if you know them (and spelling them right) and using proper sentences.

That also means doing some research first because, honestly, there's very little you're likely to need to know that we haven't already discussed and answered here. A really good starting place is the Tech FAQ. Look over all of those posts. There are no threads there; they're all single posts to address single issues; and there's only two pages of them. I feel quite comfortable betting you lunch (or beer) that the very first issue you have with your E28 will be one of those. I'll bet you even more that your car will have at least one of those within the first year you drive it (Bets are off if you 'garage queen' it.). We put those there so they're easy to search and find, because they're all very common issues (that we got tired of answering over and over), and because they've been 'vetted' by the group as valuable, correct, and accurate.

You've already been advised to get a Bentley manual, so I can skip that. Finally, you'll do much better here if you start to regard it as a community of friends, not as a cyber-forum of strangers you can piss off and throw away. Trust me: this is the absolute best E28-specific resource anywhere, so if you want to have fun and keep your E28 on the road, you don't want to piss off the amazing panel of experts and Old BMW GeeksĀ© we have here. We can be more helpful than you can imagine, even among those of us who have never met face to face. So don't say nobody told you how to behave. ;)

I figured that, but I didn't want to complicate matters. I am curious though; what's in second place? :dunno:

Welcome to the forum. Your experiences here will be more enjoyable if you read and heed the FAQs and use proper conversational English, punctuation and grammar in your posts.

Hi!
///Marine and myself are located about an hour south of you near NAS Pax River. ///Marine doesn't have any e28s, but he has a couple e24s, so I let him slide. I just have the one e28 now, but also e30s and an e24. Come on down and say hi!

Seriously???? There is no second place. This forum, is the absolute definition of perfection. Could you ever imagine a group of hundreds of BMW techs in your living room/basement at your ready, more than willing to help your latest problem? I spend wayyyyy too much time over here. But I love it! I wish I could tell everyone on here, collectively, how much I appreciate their help, but I guess I'm doing that now...

I for sure am the luckiest 16-year-old with a car because of this forum.
Threads in other forums make me want to puke.
You are the coolest, down-to-earth, most honest people!
