I'm there. Have the same room we had at the Shaffner House last year. Hoping to bring a few more of the west TN contingent. Maybe I'll even have a vintage BMW to bring this year!

If there's anybody who wants to be the head e28 guy and wants to put together something special for the Mye28 gang at The Vintage (group photo shoot, Saturday dinner together, Sunday drive, etc.) just let me know and I'll be glad to help as much as I can.

I'm in- thanks for posting this Scott!

I'm chewing on the E28 idea... last year we kinda just broke off into spontaneous groups and that was pretty cool too... I may step that up this year though...

I will be heading down from Appleton WI on Wednesday night and staying just outside of Indianapolis. My dad is meeting me there in the E24 that we sorted the spring I graduated from college and drove to the Vintage in 09 when it was still at the vineyard. We will hopefully hit the road early and get down sometime around happy hour.

Stopping halfway I think will make the trip a lot easier since driving the 1000miles straight in a 78 E24 was a little stressful since we literally finished the engine, trans, 5-speed, front euro bumper swap a week or two before we left.

First timers Me and the misses are in at the Shaffner house...driving from MA.
Although my car is certainly not a show piece- (picked up in November) I am looking forward to- the road trip, soaking up the springtime Southern hospitality, the amazing cars there, and meeting some new friends with common interest.
Just a couple more things to sort....

Metaphorically speaking, I was. I think.
I will be bringing up some bottles of Pinot Noir I'm making tonight that should be very drinkable by June. Win friends and influence people. I can taste the Beamtership already.

Perfect... a few ounces before bedtime, and stay dry all night.

Are you bringing your lovely copilot/navigator with you again this year, Gary? After all of that practice at Octoberfest perhaps you should be moved up to the semi-pro Rallye bracket??

Yes, my blond co-pilot is going to be there again.
She really likes the rallies.
We didn't understand one part of the Ofest rally or we would have done better than 4th in our division.
The Georgia Sports Car Club runs some rallies and invites the Peachtree Chapter of the BMWCCA to join in.
Hopefully they will have a couple this winter to get in some practice. I got some good tips from rally experts at Ofest.

Game on it is. :alright:
