I will be changing out the motor in the beater soon and could re-wire it for Motronic 1.3. Have a harness from an 88 with the quick disconnects and the crank sensor, but here are the issues I have identified so far:
1. I do not have that toothed wheel for the crank sensor! Can this be added?
2. What to do with the flywheel sensors? Do I need to replace the tranny bellhousing I just repainted, or just plug the holes?
3. How do I deal with the fuse box? The new harness has a round connector vs. the square one.
4. Anything else I need to know before I commit?
Reason I need to decide now because the fuel rail has the quick disconnect for the injectors, so I have to decide which one to use and the crank sensor should be added before re-assembly.
