Anyone use the kit instead buying a new valve. Impressions?

Why buy from Bavauto ? Plenty of 5er FeST Sponsors to buy from . But if you do, make sure of the brand you are buying, Bosch right here for 35.00

Just ran across it in their catalog. No implication of buying it from them. Interested of performance of the repaired part as compared to buying a new valve.

the inserts replace all the wear items, unless the housing is cracked

I put a Bosch repair kit into mine last fall. Plenty of heat, even before fully warm.

I bought mine from my local Bosch supplier. Was about $50 Canadian with my jobber discount. Steve's $35 is an even better deal.

Thanks Steve. I need one for the new '87 535is I just brought back from Arkansas. I did about 1,000 miles with heat only coming off idle! Lots of other stuff I need for it, too, so I'll be in touch---soon!! Got a good price on 750iL brake rotors for the "new" car's M5 brakes?
