This car in particular is an example of how it helps to leave the ad up. You posted very few pictures, none of the interior, and did nothing to add more pictures over the few days the car was for sale. As a Euro, this is a relatively unique car that did in the past and may in the future change hands on this board. The first thing I did was dig around in the archives for old pictures from prior owners. If you left your ad up, there would be some more history for future researchers.

Leaving the ads up also provides some paper trail for people who are trying to discover a market value for their vehicles for either resale or insurance purposes. With unique vehicles this is very important - there is very little market intelligence available. People already take the time to quote Craigslist ads in the NA thread to create a record, we shouldn't have to quote an ad like this just to create a record.

Even with few pictures, you sold this one quickly, and apparently had a lot of interest (Looks like you sold it twice; I'd say multiple sales counts as a lot of interest). So congrats on the sale.

I think the ad should have stayed too, with the price.
It pisses me off when looking for a price reference, and all I see beside the item is "SOLD".
They make great references.

Spoke to the new owner today - he is looking for ALPINA goodies....(which I have lots of goodies). We discussed and it's all good. Glad Chris got the Euro...I have had my fill...I've learned not to hang on to resentments....it's self destructive.

Plans for the car are to add a turbo and give it an Alpina/Hartge style look to it. I'll be doing a build thread in the near future. I have two really good friends (Sherman and Luis) that I'll be counting on for assiatance as usual. Stay tuned.

I don"t think the work will be done by then. LOL. I was planning on driving the M5. I've already started ordering parts for the Euro. Can't wait to get things going!
