While Jay Bortolotto was over for the 3.46 LS diff removal and installation of the 3.64 LS diff, I installed the 8x17, 20mm offset, Style 42 wheels and found that everything clears without rubbing, at least in the static mode. I don't see what could hit while moving and cornering, but you never really know 'til you drive it.
Now I need to order some half shaft boot kits and repack the constant velocity joints with grease and replace the four boots. :p
I replace my boots as well, buy new hex bolts to replace the old ones. Also you could "reverse" the half shafts so they wear on the other side. The rims look great, fit quite nice, what is in the driveway? I see and old 3.0, what is wearing the red dress?
Got to love the wagon! I wouldn't give mine up either, man can you haul some stuff around in thoes. Is that the Japan Red? That is the color as my wife's wagon, we went with the gray leather seats, black is too common and rather hot during the summer.
