I thought we had made this more clear to everyone at some point, sorry if we (I) did a bad job of communicating that point. We had some back channel discussions around when TP was formed, and this was agreed to be the best way to handle it.booker wrote:Ok.
Objective gun posts belong in GC.
Subjective gun posts belong in TP.
Posts complaining about gun posts belong in 'Comments".
The same basic sentiment applies to pretty much all other topics as well.
General commentary on the demographic shift of both this site and the Republican Party. No such thing as a moderate Republican anymore, unless you count the guy in the Oval Office.L_N_Love wrote:And what does that mean? Is that slide dance lingo?Son of a wrote:... and slide to the right...

Is this thread about partisanship?
Is this thread about the socio-political trends of the board members?
In a thread that explains the rules for where to put posts, YOU BREAK THE RULES.
MyE28 now has a special place for people to ass-leak their worldview into other threads. You know where it is.
He's not alone and there is plenty of divisive talk from both sides.shagrath wrote:There goes Aaron separating folks again.
How about we ALL contribute here and add to the bullshit Aaron? I swear every chance you get you tear this forum apart by pushing away good people that happen to be conservative (there is a difference btw a conservative and a Republican, just so you know).
I agree. I've done it too but not every chance one gets.WilNJ wrote:He's not alone and there is plenty of divisive talk from both sides.shagrath wrote:There goes Aaron separating folks again.

You say some pretty ridiculous things sometimes. This decision is about providing equal voice for everyone. We're not going to push liberal people's hobbies to a separate subforum either.Son of a wrote:... and slide to the right...

You talk about there not being any moderate republicans anymore, but there's never been anything close to a moderate democrat. It's a my-way-or-the-highway mentality. Democrats are making it pretty damn hard to be a moderate republican these days.
