Five speed or does it have the six speed option?

Thanks for the kudos. This 5 speed beauty is a well-sorted cool example that has been "in the family" for a while now. Evan 650-307-2251

That car has me thinking. If it didn't have those stupid wheels or the dumb IHKA HVAC, it would be perfect. Fortunately the former is easy to change. Also, that's one of those Rover CD43s from eBay, not a factory radio for the car.

Are those genuine e34 paras, or e38/39? I'm curious as to why Chris doesn't like them, personally I am fond of them.

You know, after seeing the silvergrau hell shift surround, I think I like my black one better.

The rover and BMW cd43s are exactly the same. I'm told after much testing, they aren't a very good radio either. I still have one coming for my e30 though. Not saying they were factory for the e34, just that they're the same thing ;)

I have that same cup holder :D

Very nice car, wish I had the dough to purchase/upkeep.

GLWS!!

I don't like the wheels because they're ugly and make every car they're installed on look cheap and the radios might function the same but this one has the stupid sideways ///M logo covering up the Rover logo. Some proper style 21s and a Euro BMW Bavaria cassette deck and we're in business.

I am actually thinking about this car though.

I've heard that a sugar cube removes the rover logo ;)

The //M logo does look cheap, the wheels I'm just going to have to disagree on though :)

I have never been a fan of these cars with gray interiors, but this one looks very nice. I like it!

Wheels

Post by Enchanter »

My 1995 M5 came with those wheels and still has them. They are pretty light for 18s. If they made a 18" throwing star wheel, I would be on it!!

I would have to agree with wkohler about the wheels, otherwise this is a great looking M5! GLWS

Just for the record....
1. I think the 18" staggered M parallels look quite good on the car.
2. While I do not generally like a grey interior on BMWs, this light silver grey looks really good on this car especially contrasting the Avus. Just my opinion.
3. Car was just driven from SoCal where expert Anrie had done LOTS of work on the car! BEAUTIFUL & STOUT!
4. Gonna do a complete and current photo shoot today!

1995 Euro M5 had these wheels in All silver with slightly different off set and width.. (18 x 8 ET 20mm & 18 x 9 ET 22mm) wheels on the Avus Blue M5 are the 740i wheels with polished lips and 9.5 wide rear wheel which works better with 275/35-18 Tires...IMHO I prefer the all silver 95 Euro M5 spec wheels....here's a photo of my 1995 Jet Black Euro M5 for comparison...

I hope this car finds a good home,

Cheers,

Always loved those wheels, no matter what they're on. Never cared for blue or gray interior, especially together, but this one just works perfectly with that combo. Super sharp and definitely something I'd own for fun. Just not a dream car of mine for that kind of money. Too many others higher on the food chain for me in that range. Very nice all around ///M though.

Nice car, I like that it doesn't have the trunk spoiler/wing that some E34's have.

The CD-43 is a great stereo and a very popular upgrade on the e31. It is far better than the stupid BMW stock stereo cassette that was in my 840. Has auto volume and brought all 12 speakers alive. Also the M-par makes just about every 5,7 and 8 series BMW from the 90's look great.

I seem to agree with Chris on most things. But not on M-Parallel wheels. See the pics of my 540 M-Sport in my sig.

The prettiest wheel BMW has ever made.

Although in this case, these examples are polished, which is NOT factory. In fact, I've never seen a pair polished like that that are real. Are you sure they are BMW OEM wheels? If so, then they've been re-finished.

I'm not a fan of the polished versions.

I would not kick this car out of bed for eating crackers, but I'd never be totally happy with that interior (just as I was never totally happy with the grey interior on my M-Sport).

GLWS, this is an amazing automobile.

The Mpars look great on all cars they came equipt from the factory. E31, E34, E38.

No doubt about. Again that's my opinion and many others

That's why they are on my Silver E38 . I would put them on my e34 if I find a set of style 95s

The car Ron got from Tim was a '93 US M5. It went to AZ in late 2007.

Looks exactly the same as the 93 M5 we parted out for the S38B38 this year. Same color, same interior but RHD.

Good luck with the sale!
