It's come along way, and still way more to do. This is going to be my build thread.

The brand is XYZ. Think I've seen 2 guys on this forum run them. And another 2 on Stanceworks. And CAtuned use them. From the people I have asked they are all happy with them.

I personally think the quality of the product is top notch, and Alfa Romeo ran this company in WTCC in the 2000's

Will update how the car feels with them on.

Haha thanks. Yeah they came off a 750il full Hartge kit e32 that a German guy brought to South Africa about 20 years ago.

Doubt there are many other sets around in my country. Also thought I paid alot for them, but in retrospect, after looking for what they have gone for on this forum it was a bargain.

The Colour is AQUA - Think it was was a South African spec colour. Can't find any info on the colour at all

Where did u get them from? I went to xyz website and it does not show any for e28. I went to catuned.com and they have them for $895 but not in stock. How much did you paid for yours ?

I got them from my local supplier in South Africa. Worked out to about $1000 and they did the welding for me. They require welding to the strut ends.

In the US I think it would be best to send CAtuned an email.

Sadly still no updates : Completing my thesis, and looking for employment. Barmanning cant really get your car parts after all the expenses at the end of the month.

Next month coilovers will be in. I've bought the hubs for the struts. Waiting on brake dust shields from BMW as well.

Cant stand this 4X4 LEVEL anymore. Here's a picture, car was used for a fashion editorial last week photographer gave me this.

I think these cars look fantastic on the stock suspension.

Aqua is a very cool color too. SA only, though.

Ditto on suspension.

I guess that would make Aqua one of the more rare colors.
