Anyone hear back from the seller? I have not received tracking yet for my bumper... He hasn't replied back to my PM's or my email. Hoping that I didn't get shafted.

Any news from the seller? Any of your tracking numbers working?

The seller has only made 18 posts since joining. Pretty sure this is not looking good at this point.

I just noticed an email from paypal that shows a tracking number has been attached.

I haven't purchased anything from your seller, but every part I bought coming from Bulgaria sits 2 weeks in New York before being released. Give it a few more days. I think I asked this guy in a thread where he is located and he replied Bulgaria. Good Luck.

Hi everyone,

I just received my "euro bumpers" in the mail.

This is what was in the box.

Image

Same tracking number as what paypal gave me. I'm now opening a dispute on PayPal. This asshole is likely scamming you too.

Great... my "package" has arrived in Flushing NY. I knew that once this guy fell of the planet we'd be saying sorry :(

Let me know how that goes... considering that there's a legitimate tracking number there Paypal may not be too easy to deal with.

Well I figured as long as we have evidence that the seller is a scammer (which we do now) I figured it shouldn't be too difficult of a process? Then again I've never had to do a paypal claim so I guess we will see how it plays out.

Does the tracking info indicate weight of the package? Dead giveaway and (hopefully) easy claim.

Paypal doesn't get involved in condition claims generally, but this is entirely different. Wishing you guys the best of luck, be sure to let us all know how it goes.

The problem with PayPal is that if you've received something, they're going to tell you to # sand. Doesn't matter if it's the wrong item or what.

If you used a credit card, your best bet is to go through your credit card provider.

It's for these reasons I will only deal with trusted sellers.

Of course, have you contacted the seller to see if there was a simple mistake?

By all means try the PayPal angle. In mine and others experience, they will only step in on items that aren't received at all. Maybe things have changed.

Here's some pictures of the actual package. You can tell that I wasn't too happy when opening it. The tracking number on the package matches the supplied tracking number supplied by PayPal and the package has my correct name and address (obviously). When it went through customs, the seller wrote that the value of the item was $1. I find it highly unlikely that the seller simply made a "mistake." Nonetheless, the representative from Paypal said it should be an easy claim due to the fact that the claim doesn't concern the quality of the item received but the item itself. A cluster gauge is not remotely close to any car bumper. The only thing that I'm worried about at this point is having to ship the gauge BACK to Bulgaria and waste time and money when I should be throwing my money at Ivo.

In my particular case, I received an item that is not remotely close to the size/price of car bumpers. Because my case has nothing to do with subjectivity (i.e. "The product is not of quality the seller suggested"), she said the claim will be straight forward. Basically he has 10 days to respond to the dispute. The money is frozen. If he does not respond within the 10 days, all the money is returned. If he does respond, he'll have to be a pretty damn impressive lawyer to convince PayPal that a cluster gauge doubles as car bumpers.

You other buyers will most likely have to wait until your package comes. Hell, it might even be the euro bumpers you bought. Who knows.
