Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone here is rather proficient in the diypnp 55 pin offered by aiyautotune.com? I've had it built now and running my e34 now for several months, however when ever I want the engine to run I have to manually jumper the fuel relay connection in the engine bay.

As you can imagine this get old fast and isn't particularly the safest way to run an engine I'd imagine. So I'm here wondering if anyone has any input or maybe even some past experience with a similar problem. I've already lost my sanity trying to figure out this problem so it's now that I turn to you.

I've posted a thread on msextra.com and have had several people trying to help, but still cannot figure this out.

wow, I just read your post at the ms forum. I would forget about plug and play and commit to the ms. All you need is to find a wire (12v +) from the ignition switch that will switch on at 2nd position and use that as a trigger for the relay, with a hardwired ground, instead of having the ms trigger the relay. I find it reassuring to hear the fuel pumps turn on before I start cranking.

Well I pick the diypnp over the msII for a reason, maybe eventually I'll upgrade to that but I've been really happy with the results the diypnp has offered minus this one and only problem I've had with it. I believe it is supposed to work the same way the msII operates (as far as the relay is concerned) and I'm sure it's probably a fault somewhere on my end, rather than the units. I'm just looking for some any helpful feed back or any possible solutions anyone might have.

i think he means to just forget the "PnP" aspect of it for that one pin. Run your own lead and hook it up to your harness instead of trying to get the factory wire working.

Ohh gotcha. Well I have one more test I need to get around to in order to rule out any fault in the processor, and if still no luck I'll try grounding the wire outside of the ms box again and seeing if I can make that work some how. btw, good to see you over here George.
