Leaving the fold, boys :(

After10 years of the 535 being FI and 5 years strictly as a track whore it's time to move on. I thought long and hard about selling the whole shooting match but after a lot of back/forth I've made the decision to keep the car but go NA. The plan is to set it up to run in the World Racing League and an FI M30 is not a logical choice for endurance racing. Over the last 5 years the motor went from a 400+hp fire breather to the latest variant, a junkyard B32 running 7psi and perhaps 260hp. BTW, after 2 seasons the junkyard b32 still has great leak down/compression numbers and runs well. It is better balanced and a fair amount faster with less power and my guess is an NA motor will not see it being much slower. Weighing 2500lb doesn't hurt, either :D

I posted in the WTB section but I'm looking for an M30 header. If anyone knows of/has one, shoot me a PM!

It was a good run. You have lasted longer than anyone! Thanks for all the R&D

Likewise, thanks for all the info! Don't mind if I pick your brain again sometime in the future!

I'm not going away, just on to a new phase. If the urge strikes I still have a prepped block on the stand and a shelf full of Burke turbo goodness to build another monster. Fact is, the chassis developed far better than I thought it would and a "point and shoot" setup is not necessary; a less is more kind of thing.
