You can cut a large enough TV box in half and slide the top half over the bottom half (with a bit of encouragement on your part) and apply tape as necessary. Mine came in a box that once held a 64" tv that was cut in half and had new flaps cut into the top so it would still close like a normal cardboard box.

If you still have the Dam, I would like to buy it. Wrap it in bubble plastic and tape, if you can't find a box.

I messed up the local deal (had one of those days) ... So it is still available. I found a box!! Here are the specs. Box is 78"x26"x12" and the total weight is 26lbs. UPS told me to ship it to 91210 would be $245.96 ... That's stupid obviously. I don't know how you guys ship these big items across the country for $50 but I would like to know?? Hopefully the potential buyer knows how to do this. UPS said something about a pre-paid label? OH!!! Greyhound maybe?? Guess I should check with them

Are there "waves" in the lower most part of the bumper, like warping or something? Or are my eyes and/or the picture playing tricks on me? Interested.

I wouldn't say it is "wavy." It is old. I'm sure it has scrapped the pavement a few times over the 28+ years. I've only had it since February (pulled from a shell I'm going to use ...)

Greyhound should be $60-$100 I just shipped a transmission from PHX to Oklahoma and it was less than a $100 via UPS

Rates via ShipNEX for a 78"x26"x12" 26lb box

Derby City, KN to Glendale, CA | 67037 -> 91210 = $151.69.

Just for reference: New York City to Los Angeles | 10001 -> 90001 = $170.26.

Thanks for that Austin! I actually refer to "Derby City" as in the "original" Derby City as in "Louisville, Kentucky" 40216. $250 is my current price with shipping included. I used 40216 to 94566 as a reference for probable "most expensive" shipping cost ....
