MSQ file help

Hello all, I haven't been active here in quite some time. I've been "out of the game" for some time. I'm trying to get my 635csi running again. Its been sitting since July. Late last year, I had Peter Florance upgrade my ecu to wasted spark. I'm running 6 AC delco LS2 coils. I finally got the coils, coil wires and wiring mounted. I believe I'm running 3.3.2 code.

Would anyone be willing to take a look at my MSQ file as a "sanity check"? Its been probably 1.5 years since I last looked at the tune on this car and maybe 4-5 years since I was using any of the tuning programs on a regular basis.

Thanks.

Welcome back, George!

I've been out too. No turbo for 2 years. Installing all new stuff now.

I don't even have a working computer with TS on it atm, so I'm of no help.

Sub'd for more responses...

Thanks Mike. I started my "tuning" laptop this past weekend for the first time since 2014. I was fairly competent when I was running Ms1 but ever since upgrading to Ms2 and now wasted spark, I simply haven't spent enough time to get a comfortable with a lot of the settings again. Every release code, things seems to change. I'm hoping someone that's competent with the release I'm running.

Its slowly coming together...little by little.

Any update on this, George?

I'm just venturing into MS2 and trying glance through .msq files that I can download...

yep. Got some assistance from a local tuner. Car runs and drives pretty well. I still have some settings turned off as the fuel map in boost gets smoothed out. I just haven't had much time to devote to it lately. Been almost a month since I started it. Idle is still a little funky. Sometimes its rock solid from cold start to running temp, other times it oscillates. Would point to an inconsistent vacuum leak somewhere but I've smoke tested and boost tested the car and can't find it.

I can send you what I'm running later this week. The MSQ is on my tuning computer in my garage. Just let me know.

Sure, thanks!

Mainly would like to just glance through some of the settings.
I saw you have M30B34 engine size with 38# injectors. Any other notes about your setup?

My VE table as loaded on my used unit worries me when I look at Shawn's original MS FAQ post:

Its a b35. 8.8: 1 compression, 38# low impedance injectors, 3.5bar fuel pressure, bored throttle, extrude honed intake, no a/c....I've forgot most of the stuff I've done to it. Next time I stop at my garage I'll copy the MSQ file for you.

try flattening the idle area cells with the same number in several cells, that will stop the oscillating idle.
good luck
