m106 manifold > turbo passage

Has anyone opened up the m106 manfold & turbo passage? It's not huge & definitely not ideal for high boost (depending who you ask). I'm curious to what radius this was opened. A person would be limited on the driver side of the mani/turbo but there's plenty of meat on the driver side.

In layman's terms, has anyone ported a stock manifold? Y or N

Shouldn't be that difficult. If you don't have the proper equipment, I would find a good engine machine shop to do the porting. Years back I paid a machine shop to port b34 manifolds so they matched the gasket size. Cost me $50. I made a nice turbo manifold after that. I'll have to find pictures.

With that said, porting the turbine housing requires a lot more work and forethought.

Where do you want to port?

Referring to the hole where hot side of turbo mates to the manifold. I was looking & there seems to be enough meat that you could open this open in one direction.
