...before the motor blows. Rebuilds are $20K or more if you can even find someone who knows how to do it.

I guess I've owned it long enough to get the joke, but also long enough to almost forget that at one time I was scared of that happening after reading about a few vocal people that found some plastic in the oil pan after their engine fell apart.

yeah... it's an ongoing concern if you own one. Its a fun motor though.

fear of an engine rebuild will never make me sell any of my cars. even if the parts are ridiculously priced and/or are rapidly going NLA.
