S38b35 questions

Hello all . I’m going to be swapping a s38b35 into my e30. This seems to be the best place to get some answers and knowledge on the s38.

I have the 35pin harness -88 -e28 - s38b35 what can I do to run the 55 pin megasquirt. I know the adapters are hard to find . Can I repin my 35pin into a 55pin housing ? Or do I search for a 1.3 harness out of e34 -s38

I would need to change to the trigger wheel . And pick up
Change the tps. Then do the MaF or gm iat.

I do plan on doing some motor work to the s38b35. Any advice would be appreciated thank you all !

A couple people have tried adapters but only made one-offs or didn't finish, I don't remember of any that have been for sale in any meaningful capacity. Realistically I'd look for a 55 pin harness, off the top of my head I doubt repining would work.
Where are you getting the megasquirt from? Does it have the right coil and injector drivers?

I was going to use the BMW E30/325i/E32/E34 1987-1993 MSPNP Gen2 Plug and Play ECU, since this does support support the s38b36 .. I was reading you can supposly make it work with low impedance injectors . Or if not I could switch to high impedance.. what other options would I have for a ecu for this.
