Want one with the removable AutoAuthority chip?
It'll require high octane fuel.
Known good, since I drove the '84 733i from Oak, CA to Hou, TX w/o a hiccup.
Replaced with a stock unit I had on the shelf since I don't crave the extra umph any more.

Oooh interesting, I tried to doing some research on that chip. This isn't the bavauto chip, correct?
How much would you be looking to get for it? Ideally i'm looking for a stock one. If I were to remove the chip i would need to find a stock chip to replace it correct?

$250 shipped.
Not sure about stock chip replacement since AA soldered in a base for the chip to plug into.

I do not.
Maybe someone else that has experience can weigh in.
Push come to shove, a couple cups of octane booster, if that stuff's real, should remove any negative impact on that first tank.
