Has anyone figured out an alternative to the stock tips, which are NLA? I routinely kick myself for throwing out the tips with the old muffler.

Why not get a pair of stock tips and have them powdercoated black? I doubt it would cost much more than $25. Just an idea.

Powder coating is only good to 280F. My powder coated tips melted. But maybe that was the fflames shooting out of the exhaust between shifts at 18psi?

I just have a pair of cheapo chrome tips from the local auto parts store on my car, and unless you get down on your back and look underneath I think they look just fine.

Matt- what's this word "need" that you use?
As with 90% of my other "needs", it's really a "want". Looks nice and clean with the tips. (btw -sorry about the private message - meant to post instead)
Duke - Who's Till? Do you know how much?
Stuart - did you just get the screw on type?

Yup, they are the kind with a little set screw. You just slide 'em on and tighten the screw. Worked for me and the price was right.
