Hi,

I missed out on this and was wondering if this was a member's car?

I would love to try to find this and see it in person to see how it can be salvaged.

cant use contact seller... I guess I could email BAT directly to ask... maybe that's the best route at this point.

I live in the area of that car. It’s been on Craigslist for a long time.

You know, I was gonna comment on that, but thought I’d just leave it right there. Yeah.

BaT isn't always right on valuation.

100% agree particularly in this instance. I was helping out the poster who wanted to contact the seller to make an offer.

Correct, agree on that statement, but it's not a 12K car in its current state. I contacted, made my offer, and we couldn't strike a deal.

Heck... if you want to pay $12K for an E28, take mine... lol.

He has it posted on fb marketplace with an asking price of 19.5K

Better than his original asking price of 23.5K on marketplace. He lowered it to 19.5K after the bat auction ended. I understand our cars are rare and desirable. But they are only worth what someone is willing to pay. There are a lot of dreamers out there. He will be sitting in that car for a very long long time as the reality hasn’t hit him yet.

We need a new smiley with someone smoking a crack pipe...

Did you see the rust on this thing? This is a well-under-$5k car.

Yes, it was nice at some point, but that was a decade or two ago. Hope the seller's crack wears off soon.
