fuel injector options

with my engine going to 3.9L and 10.5:1 compression, I need to find different injectors. What are my options for off-the-shelf replacement injectors? I assume the stock injectors are low-Z. Does anyone know if the ECU uses a peak-and-hold method of injector firing? If not, I can I run high-Z injectors with the ECU.

In a discussion on the Forced Induction forum, it was mentioned that the 533i has a peak and hold cycle. Since the 533i shares the injector of the M5 I would think that the M5 ECU also uses a peak and hold cycle. I may be wrong, but I hope this helps.

Thanks -- I think I'm going to have to measure the current from the ECU to make sure. I hope it doesn't use peak-and-hold so I can use cheap injectors.
