Todd will be happy to know that I will finally be installing the TCD2 system gathering dust in my garage. The one and only Duke Samouce will be leading the operation. Anyone interested in helping or watching is welcome to come by. We will be starting at 9am in my garage this Saturday.
Anyone interested can shoot me an email for my address. It is stevenunderscorekimatkimappraisalsdotcom. I checked and mapquest has my address correct so you can figure out the best route from where ever you are coming.

Gainesville is about 30-40 miles from Silver Spring. Go around the Beltway west to Route 66. Take that west about 15 miles to the Route 29 exit after Manassass and you are in Gainesville. Unfortunately, Duke won't be there on Sunday, but I will try to do what I can. The main work will be on Saturday and probably the next weekend he is available.

Weekend Update:
Things didn't go as well as hoped. 2 exhaust manifold studs broke off in the head during removal. Then I proceded to drill into the head while drilling one stud for an easy out, eventhough I was very carefull not to. Those things need to come with a collar because it is impossible to keep the bit from walking on the stud. Then, while getting the head ready for removal, I noticed parts of the timing chain tensioner were broken off. Also, not a good sign.
After much thought, I figure this is as good a time as any to call up the reliever. A friend has a spare engine with alot less miles that I will bring in to replace the engine.
This will put a hold on the procedings a bit, but at least I will be able to set up the turbo on the engine before replacing the engine. I guess it's also time to call Todd for a Spec 3 clutch.
I really want to thank Duke and Jon from Richmond for coming by and helping. They were really great to take the time and effort. Jon's got a very bitchin black M535.

Good call Steve,
You will be very happy with that decision and it will end up saving you a lot of time, money and effort.
I'll call you when I get back in VA.
