Y'all,
I'm going to be disassembling the fugly-outside/purty-inside M30B35 I acquired this past winter, mainly because the process of cleaning the rust and grunge off the thing in preparation for painting & powdercoating is getting frustrating -- it'll be easier to just pull it apart, have the parts tanked, then reassemble.
Since I'm going to have it apart anyhow, and intend to go the TCD route someday, I figured I'd see if it's possible to install piston squirters in an M30B35. Has anyone done this? Is it worth the time, expense, and hassle for whatever gains it affords?
FWIW, this is an early M30B35 out of an E24. It looks mostly like an M30B34 externally, so I don't know if the internal casting is like a B34 or B35, if that'd make a difference.
Thanks,
Shawn
