As was my intent from the beginning, the S2 is now a daily driver/grocery getter.
My wife took the wheel today for a trip to the grocery store. She came back with a smile on her face and a trunk full of grocery items. I am informed that once the car is dialed in I will have to build another one because this one is now hers.
The more I drive it with the auto the more convinced I am that not converting to the 5sp.was the right decision for our uses. Power is seamless and it's truly a useable car for everyday driving either by my wife or myself. Off boost it's a mundane and sedate cruiser. On boost it's simply scary.

What boost pressure are you running? Are you using stock ECU still? How was the drivability of the engine affected?
I'll bet its hard to wipe the grin off your face when driving that thing around!!!

ECU is stock w/TCD chip. Boost is 13 lb. Driveability is great as is evidenced by the fact that my wife drives the car and rarely gets into the boost. An unsuspecting person would have no idea of what's under the hood if the car is driven "normally". Mash the throttle and everything changes.......fast.
I've been in some turbo cars that are brutal and a handful to drive. Not so with this thing. The more I drive it on a daily basis the more impressed I am.
BTW, the first scratch got put in it today. !@#$

Have you had any issues with denonation? Were you able to get the A/F ratio pretty steady? Are you using a wideband O2 sensor? I'm hoping to get a TCD S2 project rolling within the next year, and am planning for ~13psi as well.
Sorry to hear about the scratch...that sux!! Mine got dinged the other day too :@

I'm using an LM1 and have been able to get the AFR's pretty close to where they should be. I'm guessing that if I were running a few more PSI, I'd be hitting the limits of the injectors and would probably begin to have issues on the detonation front.
