at only 5 psi (detonating like crazy) i gained 12 mph over those times. think of what it would be like with proper tuning (not to mention wires, crank, cap and coil!) and more boost.

not talkinb about redone, talking about upgraded wires and coil. p.s. what happened to runing "4 psi" or "getting a bike instead of turbo."

nope, no turbo on his car yet - just an N/A run as you can see from his list of mods on his sig.

WOW. I ran a 14.2 with a 5.0L Mustang with nothing but headers, mufflers, and a CAI. 13.7 w/ 3.73's. 13's and we'll talk.

A "stock" 5.0L really comes alive after a change to 3.73's. Why isn't that ratio recommended on a E28 (that's what I read on a site linked from this forum)? I tend to think that an inline 6 would be happier to rev than a bigger displacement V8.

I am actually looking into a 3.73 again for my car - It might be a dumb decision, but I think it will make the car much more interesting. ~0

3.73 is a good gear for a low HP car. Perfect for yours TJ. :~
