It's finally time for my e28 to get it's new motor. The piston rings and likely the ring land are broken on #6 cyl. The car has sat since 5erFest . Sunday is the last drag day this year and I cannot wait until next April to run the car. So, Beau and I set out on some tuning runs and have the car tuned at ~20psi. I am hoping it'll stay together for a few passes on Sunday. The converter gives me about 10psi from a dead stop with the street tires. Let go at that boost level and the tires go to toast. It probably won't hook up with the drag radials but we will see. Videos coming on Monday.

After that it's time for the new motor. and MS Spark.

Hehe, 20psi on 5cyls. It'll be an interesting run for sure.

Bastards canceled the last test/tune day even though the weather is dry! I'll do some videos this week before I take it apart.
