I picked up one of these manifolds on eBay:

I am going to graft two M30 engines together end to end, get a custom billet steel crank and camshaft made, do some modifications to my car to make it fit, and build the ultimate turbo E28.
Does anyone know of a good source for a turbo that would work on this application?

How are you going to do that? Where are you going to sit?

JB Weld and duct tape.

In the back seat.

I believe you could use this turbo:

I think you should make it into a boxer engine. Use one stock crank, mill the connecting rods down so two of them will fit on one crank journal and just bolt the two blocks together at the oil pan mounting surfaces... simple.

I tried that once, but I couldn't figure out how to change the oil.

my left handed shelf stretcher. (@)

That is the best ghetto rigged jet turbine with afterburner that I have EVER seen! Watch the night afterburner video, the thing looks like it's about to melt the welds and fly apart!! Sweet.

No kidding. You can see where it penetrated the welds at the end of the thrust tube part and is leaking. GOod stuff.

Don't laugh, I remember when the Wankel (sp) guys started talking about grafting
two rotary motors together, eventhough it was an easier task since the rotary motors
are put together like a loaf of bread and they were just adding more slices if you will....
I think the V12 is based on Daryl ideas eventhough they are not mounted end to end
but side to side....
