As I was pulling the intake manifold off the M106 tonight, I noted the lack of a vacuum fitting for a brake booster. On my N/A Motronic 3.5, the PO just tapped the manifold for vacuum. In a turbo application where there will be positive manifold pressure frequently, is there a better choice for a vacuum tap?

The manifold works fine as long as you have a check valve to prevent the booster from seeing pressure.
