It's a sad statement when I can reinstall the entire top end, have it hooked up and ready to fire in about 2.5 hours....save for the proper torque specs for the MLS head. Does anyone have a clue? I'm also using ARP studs.
BTW, the MLS sure is a differnt bugger. It's a stout thing and I would have to guess it can accept some pretty serious abuse!

Hey Bill, use the ARP recommended specs. The specs given are to produce the proper stretch of the studs.

If you haven't been told, Todd said the MLS gasket needs to be sprayed with several coats of a copper gasket spray.

It's not necessary. It can be installed with or without. Cometic says both ways work. I just felt comfortable using the spray and do recommend it.

Am I going to run into issues by not having the spray on it? I knew nothing about it.
I suppose I'm SOL 'cause the motor is back together.

You'll be fine.
