I found the gremlin that was giving difficulty over the past week or so and couldn't resist taking the beast out for a drive. There was fresh snow on the ground and some ice on the roads so there were no acts of heroism or stupidity but all I can say is HOLY CRAP!! I've no idea where it sits on the hp scale but this thing is scary fast....seemingly moreso than before. I'm not BSing when I say that no sane person needs this much snort. I, however, am not a sane person and can't wait until I can safely crank it up to 20 or ????.

Where it's at is: b34 bottom end, b35 top,(low compresion) port matched, MLS gasket and ARP studs. While I was there I put in new motor mounts, belts, hoses and a bunch of other stuff. Boost is set at 15 and will stay there until I can get standalone engine mgmt. put in.

Stay tuned!

Russ

From our figuring the CR is actually a bit lower than 8:1.

I'd have to guess...and it's only a guess, that there's more than 324hp, however I won't make any claims until its strapped to a dyno.

I'm waiting for MS to be readied, hopefully sometime this Spring.

My MS is in the mail, I can't wait to get everything sorted and ready to go... Best of luck with yours!
