How would a 1987 535IS react to a Procharger? Would I just be able to install it with the stock equipment or would I have to modify anything other than the brackets?

It would react fine. The m30 loves boost. Read the archives for answers to your other question.

Ya, you would have to fabricate all the mounts and plumbing. No kits.

What about the universal kit from ProCharger? :?

It would have everything but brackets...right?

Everything except brackets, piping, and injectors. I don't know that for sure, but there's no such thing as unviersal fitment injectors, supercharger brackets, intercoolers, or piping.

My guess would be that the universal kit includes only the supercharger itself and an intercooler core designed to fit in most "sport compact" cars.

You'd be better off contacting the company directly to find out for sure.

Trust me, there are no "commercial" kits for a E28. So the universal is as you say, the basics, a SC, FMU, maybe IC, oil lines etc.

Wait, except for this, but I have never heard of anyone installing one of these or if they were available?
