First, the airdams - oh; and a shift knob.

Image This one is for >9/84 models

Image Top left is for post '85; Top right is pre-'85 models. Bottom (2 views of the same dam) is also for pre-9/84 models

Wing (!), spoiler, skirts, and rear valences; not to mention the too-kewl 'lifestyle' clothes.

Image Needless to say, fits all years.

ImageTop skirt and valance are pre-'85 models; bottom for '85 and later. Notice the 'shorty' lip spoiler that sits completely on top, unlike the stock 'is spoiler. You think you got a chance with Blondie when there's a guy with a blue leather M-Sport jacket around?

OK; I think we all have grab handles, but how many have block heaters? Oil heaters? Programmable gas under-the-rear-seat heaters? (Yeah; I remember one of you scored one on German ebay a couple months ago. Well, here's the 'technical diagram'.).

OK; here's the infamous glovebox flashlight and where it goes, as well as those lighted key heads we can pick up for $30 on the 'bay. But who among you has a ski sack? Looks like all the paranoia about hacking a hole into the rear bulkhead is somewhat misplaced ...

Image

For now (scanning this stuff is boring and slow), I'm done. But it's a 52-page folder, including this one. If you have any particular 'official BMW' accessory you're wondering about, PM me and I'll get to it.

Here's an online copy of the catalog:

I'm interested in a stripe set in silver for my Delphin car, like the ones seen here - wonder if they're available?

Interesting... On page 36 they have a Hella Copilot map light... I sell those, never knew they were OEM. I'll have to install one :D

Excellent...I'll try to download/save these scans for my archives. Nice catch C.R.K. :D
Ben, what do you mean you "sell those"? Are you a West Coast Parts Pimp? ;)

I ain't no pimp, more of a hustler... A fringe benefit of the alternative energy store is that I can get deep cycle gel batteries, solar panels, etc. And I happened to notice the Copilot light and ordered one for my alfa. Never installed it...
It's the one on the right... They also make one for cigarette lighters that is pretty tasty.

They retail for $35, $10 off for e28ers.

And I drive a Merc 240d and a Ford F250 Diesel too :D

The bimmer is my one environmental vice.

You're welcome - I think. I didn't actually 'catch' the scans in that link. I never knew it was there. I scanned the damn things myself and stuck them into my own Yahoo photo albums. I have the brochure and have had it since Oktoberfest '88, no doubt, where I think I picked it up. At that time, I could only dream of actually owning an E28. %)

BTW, does anyone have a theory on why the Yahoo image links I use only work for a few of you? I always test image links by previewing the message - and of course I can always see them. :@
