For once nothing fell off, I didn't get stranded and life is good

The new motor is night and day from the old one. Boost comes on with a lot more punch at around 3k and really starts ripping at around 5. It seems to be a bit smoother through the powerband and pulls harder than before. The b35 conversion has made a significant difference and the "seat of the pants meter" suggests a definate increase in power.

The motor currently consists of
8:1 JE forged pistons in a b34 bottom
b35 head/intake port matched
265 cam
15lb boost
MLS gasket
ARP studs
a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting at the moment

Next up is MS and a bunch more boost. I'm already drooling!

Nice,
Maybe a dyno run soon?

I can't remember, what ECU are you using, 059, 179 or other?

059 ECU..... at its limit!

A dyno run is difficult right now. The main season is about 3 weeks from kicking off and it's scramble time. The nearest one is 175 miles away so scheduling is a bit tricky.

I don't recall where the cam came from. It was included in a parts car and spare motor deal I did a while ago.

264 would be either a 10:1 m30b34 or regular m30b35 cam.

The 059 is not at the limit, you just need to re-program it

Jeremy

I looked at my records and the cam is out of a b35.

Bill, I still want to get up there before the tourist season hits so I can check out your toys...I'll see if Bill P. and maybe some of the other local guys want to set something up.

That would be a lot of fun. The weekend before and after the fishing opener are pretty slow up here, then I've little spare time until late Sept.
