Oil / Water After-run pumps?

Any of you guys run electric after-run pumps? Turbo timers are pretty common but i've always thought they were tacky. It seems a better solution is an electric coolant pump and possibly an electric oil pump. The Audi B5 S4 has an electric coolant pump as a standard feature for turbo-after-run cooldown.

It seems an ideal setup would run the electric cooling fan, the electric water pump, and the electric oil pump until the water temp reached a set value. Ideally there'd be an oil temp and a water temp sender just downstream of the turbo so you can be sure you're not cooking it during use and so that the after-run system can shut off safely.

We have talked about this and agree that all of these systems are not necessary.

A little forethought is all that is needed. Don’t run you car on high boost before shut down; if you do, wait 2-3 minutes at idle be for shutting it down. Turbo timers are for the kids with their 4 bangers and loud blow-off valves.
